Mission

Our mission is to understand and improve lifelong learning, language, and literacy in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About Us

The Learning Lab for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (LLIDD) is led by Dr. Susan Loveall. We conduct research on the learning abilities of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan. Specifically, our research focuses on the study of reading skills and their underlying linguistic and cognitive processes. The ultimate goal of our research is to design and implement effective interventions to improve learning, language, and literacy outcomes.
